Mature Skin Makeup

This is my friend's mother. Once long time ago before I become a make-up artist she asked me what do I want to do in my life. I explained that I'm thinking to become a make-up artist and she was very excited about that. Also she explained me that she never had her make-up done professionaly and that she was always dreaming even as a young girl that a professional make-up artist would do her make-up. So now, few years later me and my friend surprised her and I did the make-up for her. My friend explained me that he never saw his mother so happy before in his whole life. I believe him, she was shining of happiness and she looked much younger.

I chose foundation in a tone that was just a little darker than her skin tone. For eyes I again did a white base eyeshadow with just a little of "Barely There" gray eyeshadow, which is almost not noticable. I made just a thin line with eyeliner, black mascara and black pencil on the inside "rim" of the eyelid. I didn't apply pencil in strong tones, so soft that it almost looked grey not black. I also lighten a bit the under-eye area. Corrected the shape of brows with brow-fix gel. I used blush in color of her lipstick which also wasn't very strong and added a lip-gloss to make her lips look fuller. And in the end I applied the translucent pressed powder so that her face wouldn't shine too much when we shot the photos or when she went out with friends.
